sports massage

Sports massage helps reduce muscle tension, improve mobility and support recovery so you can move better and get back to doing the things you enjoy.

Whether you’re active regularly, spend long hours at a desk, have a physically demanding job or are simply dealing with tight or uncomfortable muscles, sports massage can help relieve tension, support recovery and keep you moving comfortably.

What if I don't play sport?

Sports massage was originally developed to support athletes, using firmer and deeper techniques to work well developed muscles.

But it can actually benefit anyone experiencing muscle tension, soreness or stiffness, from desk workers and busy parents to people with physically demanding jobs. Sports massage is also a great treatment for arthritis, pre or post joint replacement, inflammatory conditions and much more.

At West-Gate, we offer 30, 45 and 60-minute appointments. For your first appointment we recommend a 45 minute appointment, so you therapist has time to learn about your needs.

What can a sports massage help with?

Our sports massage therapists work with a wide range of people, from athletes and gym-goers to those experiencing everyday muscle tension, soreness and stiffness.
