Our services
Boost your vitamin D. Support your bones, muscles and immunity.

Vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, is essential for healthy bones and muscles, as well as normal immune function. Our bodies produce vitamin D when our skin is exposed to sunlight, while smaller amounts come from foods such as oily fish, eggs and fortified foods. When your levels are low, an injection can provide a high dose that is stored in the body and used over time.
Why have vitamin D injection?
For most people, vitamin D can be obtained through sunlight, diet or oral supplements. However, some people may continue to have low levels, which can contribute to symptoms such as tiredness, muscle weakness, low mood, slow healing and hair thining.

A high-dose injection delivers vitamin D directly into the body, where it can be stored and released over time. Whether this is appropriate depends on your individual circumstances and is assessed before treatment.

Who can benefit from a vitamin D injection?
Vitamin D levels can be affected by how much sunlight you get, what you eat and your general health. You may be more likely to have low vitamin D if you:
Spend most of your time indoors

Get very little sunlight, particularly during the winter months

Have darker skin

Usually cover most of your skin when outside

Don't eat many foods that contain vitamin D

Have a health condition that affects how your body absorbs vitamin D, such as Crohn’s disease, coeliac disease, or certain liver, kidney or digestive conditions.

Take certain medications that can affect your vitamin D levels
